INDIE FILM GOODNESS

ðŸŽ¬ðŸ–¤Nothing like seeing two films you're in on the big screen inside a very neon retro movie theater!

It was a lot of fun to see The Downfall of Mr. Difford and A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing last night.

🎬The Downfall of Mr. Difford is a Thriller/Horror/Drama written, directed by and starring Matt Jefferson ( @nds_jefferson ) centered around a serial killer that I would describe as Hannibal Lector meets Norman Bates, with a dash of Dexter.  My character in this film is Jane and my scene was a lot of fun to do!

🎬A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing is directed by Eric Prestly ( @eric_the_director ) and continues the Difford Universe. The two cops assigned to the Difford case in the Downfall of Mr Difford are now trying to solve a case concerning a vigilante gang known as The Black Lights. My character Mindy is one of the Black Lights, though my appearance is altered a bit so you may not recognize me at first😎 Think The Purge meets Strangers meets pretty much any crime drama.

🎬Last but definitely not least was the short film Good Eatins, and let me tell you, this film packed a lot in 19 minutes but I mean that in a good way. It definitely gives Grindhouse and Rob Zombie film vibes but with a very unique twist that the director Mike Roger's ( @grizzly_viking_gorilla ) makes his own.

I'm dropping the vlog on this event tomorrow (Monday) on both my After Hours Channel and my music channel so keep your eyes open for that!

Thank you to all that came out and thank you to @nds_jefferson and @boardmanmovies8 for making this happen🖤🎬

PRODUCT REVIEW: Besame Cosmetics (An Introduction to Vintage Cosmetics)

Hey hey! Most who follow my blog and social media and maybe even have been to my website probably have an idea that one of my greatest inspirations is history and much of the vintage style, along with home decor, comes with it. A few years ago, I had a strong desire to seek out makeup that was inspired by the days of old. I don't recall what exactly I typed into the search engine (probably "vintage makeup" is a safe guess, though), Besame Cosmetics was the first to pop up. Upon clicking on the website, I was hooked. Besame is the brain child of artist, cosmetic historian and designer Gabriela Hernandez. She founded the business in 2004 with the intent of creating a line of cosmetics to bring back a fun, luxurious, and elegant experience in applying makeup. Which is something I'm all for. Besame translates from Spanish to English as kiss me , which is befitting because the line started out with their historically inspired lipsticks before growing from there. To m...

After Hours Book Review: Remember Me (Christopher Pike)

For this review, I review Christopher Pike's book "Remember Me." This is a book that combines elements of Horror, Fantasy, and the Supernatural. I will warn that the plot does involve some sensitive subjects, but overall I enjoyed the book. Which Christopher Pike book is your favorite?
